Water: Beach, surf, kayak, SUP, wild swim

Ceredigion has some lovely beaches including 4 Blue Flag beaches: Aberystwyth South Beach, Borth, Llangrannog and Tresaith.  A further 13 beaches achieved Seaside Award status and 4 obtained Green Coast Awards.  The beach at Borth offers 3 miles of sand from the village of Borth to the sand dunes of Ynys las.  There is safe swimming and surfing at Borth. 

There are also wild swimming spots on some of the rivers and lakes in Ceredigion.  The Ystwyth and Rheidol rivers are nearby and we can tell you about several good places to swim in these clean rivers.
